Happy holidays to everyone for whichever holiday you celebrate! (How PC)
Look for my next post from the Kings/Sharks game on the 26th since I will be in full attendance along with others who still hold out hope for the ailing Kings.
Until then, have a safe and very merry Christmas (et al)!!
Here is an article on Jaroslav Modry and an insight into a part of his personal life.
Jonathan Bernier is starting for Team Canada!

You sure there's a game Boxing Day? Aren't all the Sharks in jail? ;)
Yes, we Americans don't celebrate Boxing Day, thus I will be at the Staples Center.
Isn't this the second Sharks player to be arrested for drunk driving?? What are they doing in SJ?
"we Americans don't celebrate Boxing Day"
I know.
Appears the problem is the Sharks don't call cabs when they celebrate. ;)
"Isn't this the second Sharks player to be arrested for drunk driving??"
Bell
Why the Leafs have him and Toskala, and soon Clowe too perhaps? ;)
Those crazy kids, serves them right though.
I actually like Toskala; somehow, he snuck onto my good side last year in SJ. I saw him as more consistent than Nabokov last year too. Hopefully he continues to do well with the Leafs.

Haha! Have you ever been to Milpitas Mall (sp?) Connie? Now you can go there and counter the accusations you're running a *Hate Site*
Kind of humourous, when a Ducks Fan reported on somebody driving around Orange County with (Smack the Quacks-All Hail The Kings!???) licence plate and a (stuffed duck doll?), hanging from a noose...That Kings Fan is welcome at Milpitas Mall.
Well, maybe not on Boxing Day. ;)
The WJCs start today! Whooooo!
The Sharks was the only hockey news in the Minneapolis paper the other day. Clearly it was a slow news day.
How long until Wilson gets fired?
Kirsten - Ha! Clearly. The question that concerns me more is "how long until Crawford gets fired or finds a way to light a fire under the Kings' collective asses?"
mr - No, I don't think I've ever stopped in Milpitas...although I can't be too sure.
"The Sharks was the only hockey news in the Minneapolis paper the other day."
Hmmmm, a "Cup Contender" that can't win at home and can't score on the PP. You sure you were reading the "Hockey" and not "Humour" pages Kirsten?
"How long until Wilson gets fired?"
He won't. He's positioning the team for "Road Ice Advantage" and lining up with the Preds in the playoffs. Pure genius!
Kings Fans are probably unaware of this great strategy. Later tonight, they will figure Crawford lit "a fire under the Kings' collective asses"
Haha, I'm looking forward to this game and I don't have tickets to the Staples Centre! ;)
"I don't think I've ever stopped in Milpitas."
Yeah, I can't find it. Milpitas Mall, or (Presentation High?) guys discussing your Roenick post.
It got pretty funny with a "Celebs given too much authority" rant. Blaming Sandy Bullock for Cammalleri & Kopitar - Kings praise- No Shark talk - "Dissing"
Yeah, it's not like the Sharks have anyone on TV on a surfboard, or making toast. I guess if Sandy has enough tonight? Crawford will be gone! ;)
Some "Baby Bernier" Talk
There was some Bernier talk on the LA feed (Fox?). But I got sidetracked by Blake's goal and other things -> up to Rivet being an idiot.
Must mark down exact times!
(Fox?) was discussing the origins of Boxing Day and got into Juniors and then Bernier. It wasn't long after the start of the 2nd, so I'd scan around 19:40.
Best can do, I'll go get a pen & pad handy! ;)

Fairly certain, but I'm on painkillers right now after surgery, and life is kind of fuzzy. It's highly possible that I got them confused...
No that sounds right to me... they didn't look that great last night, but were still able to get the puck past Barbs and Aubin.
