to ROB BLAKE
If this isn't an indicator that Blake wants to remain in LA, I don't know what is.
L.A. Times Story
Inside The Kings interview
Obviously this doesn't mean that he wouldn't waive his no-trade clause if he was asked, because he hasn't been asked...yet. There are 9 days left, and really, the Kings should be more focused on getting the dead weight of their roster (i.e. Nagy) than Blake, because of those two, Blake has actually been playing AND putting up numbers.

I love Rob Blake, and I have for a long time. People give me shit about it, but I don't care.
I've loved Rob Blake since I was in the womb. Well, maybe not that early, but you get the idea!
Why do people give you shit???
I don't know exactly, but for some reason they don't understand my great love for him. He seems like such a genuinely nice guy, and he is the master of the hip check. What's not to love?
I even liked him when he played for the Avs, though he insisted on destroying my guys one by one.
The return we would get for Blakey is much greater than any other player. The fact that Blake doesn't want to go is short-sighted and proves that he really doesn't care that much about the future of the organization.
He IS the master of the hip check, and he IS a nice guy!!
He was the only reason why I followed the Aves!! And the moment he left, I stopped following them. I'm glad there's someone else who's on the same page as me.
KingsCast - What about the interview where he said that he wanted to stay and continue what he originally came back to do, even if it takes more years than originally thought? Don't you think he'd get more ire from the fans if he left? I don't think the average fan sees what we see.
Blake is caught in a Catch-22.
Blake has, MAYBE, another 2 years of declining play left in him. We're not winning the Cup in those two years. Screw the fans who won't get it. Blake needs to do what's best for the Kings. It's the same case with Sundin. If either of those two stay with their teams, they don't have the best interests of the organizations in mind.
Hey, I don't disagree with you! I've accepted the fact that Blake can bring us a GREAT return. I'm just saying that I'll remain loyal with whatever decision he makes.
I agree that Sundin could potentially bring a good return to his team as well. It just sucks that they're both caught in between two tough decisions...
I'm still jealous that you got to meet him! I probably would have just stood there staring at him like an idiot.
I thought I wasn't gonna make it over to him! haha, my legs were all wobbly and my heart was racing! I felt silly, to be honest.
When I make it down to SoCal I'll bring the shirt with me to declare which camp I'm in.
Dude it's totally understandable. It was ROB FUCKING BLAKE after all.
I look forward to it!!
Are you still unsure on the SDCC?
We won't be there. Since we went to the Head of the Charles regatta Coach has decided that we are only going to California for WIRA.
Ahh, that is unfortunate. I'm pretty sure I won't be going to WIRAs (even though I do <3 Lake Natoma).
We'll see if my surgically repaired wing holds up until WIRAs anyway. It's not looking so good right at this moment in time.
I love how Rob Blake always looks like he has just combed his hair. Even when it's super short.
