So I decided to take a slowdown type of break this summer from the blog and not do the insane Year-In-Reviews I did a year ago. I've enjoyed my time relaxing, but I definitely have a need to write something right now. Here is where you come in.
To my faithful readers: what would you like to read about for my next post? I don't want to do what everyone else is doing; rather, I would like to supplement what is already out there. Gann Matsuda is doing a fantastic job with interviews and the like. Rich Hammond always has something going on. KingsCast is still active over the summer with the Overtime videos.
Please let me know in the comments or email! I would really appreciate a jumpstart of some sort.

How is your relationship with Jarret Stoll going? Does he still have Asian Fever? These are important questions that you're readers deserve answers to...
Otherwise relax... its the offseason! There's a chance that the Kings may be playing "meaningful" games a little later into the season this year! :-)
Thanks for the kind words, Connie. Hope to see you soon...especially now that we've finally met. :-)
Connie, I just came up with a great idea for an Overtime episode but it's too late.
A documentary of you trying to become an ice girl! From training to auditions. Damn, the hits we'd get! :-) Grand finale would be you turning them down based on feminist issues.
What's the fever Asian chicks have for white dudes?
Additional: Can you please get it?
CheapSeats - I'm sure every man has Asian fever. =) I think the Kings will definitely be in the hunt til the end!
Gann - Would love to hang out again.
KingsCast - Love the idea! Too bad they held the tryouts early.
Greener - There is a word for it: normal.
Oh gawd...Connie trying out to be a Kings Ice Girl. What if she made it?? :-)
Gann, here's the thing: I believe she would.
Connie, season 2. It's on! This will be comedy gold.
Let's do it next summer. I'm game.
I love all the comments, guys, but I still need something to write about... thinking... thinking...
My "History of the NHL Trophies" pieces are killing readership. Apparently, I need something more as well. I did some of the charities that NHL players are involved with last season. Maybe you could do a whole series on the Kings' players and which charities they help out?
I wish I had some insight to offer, but alas, I draw a blank. If you're keeping it Kings related then maybe a short series of prospect reports?
On a different note, late last night FS Prime Ticket played the game from November of 07 where the Kings had the ridiculous comeback against Dallas. Interesting thing about that game, I was unconscious in a hospital at the time. I ended up reading the newspaper recap of the game a dozen times or more. It was great to actually see it happen.
Well, the NHL schedule was released... maybe take a look and see if there is anything out of the ordinary? I know the Canucks got hit with a 14 game road trip (!!) because of the Olympics taking GM Place... how'd the Kings do for travel this year?
I'll let you know if I come up with an idea for you..I'm having enough trouble coming up with writing ideas of my own after the 1-2 development camp stories I'll get out of material I still have...
Yeah, I think Connie would make it, too. But Connie...what would you do if you made it??
Teebz - Wow, that'd involve a lot more energy than I'm willing to give currently. =) So awesome that you did that tho!
Brad - I'd definitely do some analysis on the prospects if I had gone to the camps last weekend. Alas, was too busy and I am sad that I wasn't in attendance.
Glad you got to see the game; it was awesome live!
Cosbread - I broke down the Kings schedule last year and they've conveniently done it for me this year. This will probably be my next post. =)
Gann - I would love to get the KingsCast cameras out there and do a mini-show on it. What do you think?
I think the Kings wouldn't let you do the mini-show...that's what I think.
I can see it now...Connie skates onto the ice, shovel in hand and is instantly ogled by all the guys in the crowd... :-)
I think the Kings wouldn't let you do the mini-show...that's what I think.
That's unfortunate. But we won't know until someone asks! =P
That's a shame you didn't make it out to the prospects camp. That's still on my list of "one of these years". Unrelated, but with no new posts to comment in, as the schedule was released I'm thinking of going on a short Kings in New York road trip in October. Islanders and Rangers, two days apart.
