Kings World Podcast - Ep 1.30
Sunday, March 1, 2009
This episode brings things back into perspective for Marie and me. We open the show by looking at the Kings 1-2-0 record from the past week and really think about how this is going to effect what they'll do on Wednesday, March 4, trade deadline day. According to Marie, this week could make or break the rest of the season, but I'm a bit more optimistic with a hint of sarcasm to go along with it. We spend the latter half of the show doing a bit of analysis on the Kings specifically concerning the trade deadline and think about whose name could be brought into the mix.
I also read an email I received from a reader and have extended his question to you, the listeners. Please listen and let us know if you know the answer. It will be greatly appreciated!

I'm going to agree with the "I hope Dean Lombardi doesn't do anything at the deadline" but excellent points were made about maybe giving up Calder. I can't help with the Disco Dan thing, other than the fifteen minutes I wasted googling around.
Also, Kings prospect Bud "All the Way" Holloway has been playing with the Reign for a couple of weeks now and has made quite a showing. Five goals in two games, shootout winner last night. Although it's probably a domino effect of Oscar Moller moving down to Manchester, I wouldn't mind watching Holloway play for the rest of the season.
Thanks so much for the comment, always appreciated. =) Even if Lombardi doesn't do anything on Wednesday, I'm sure it'll still be interesting! I totally noticed that Holloway was with the Reign; that's great that you can actually see him play in person.
Here's a holy shit moment for you: check out the stats of Martin Jones.
WTF?!?! 43-4-3?? Are you sure that's right? What a beast.
